What is Professional Applied Kinesiology (P.A.K.)?
Professional Applied Kinesiology (P.A.K.) is a system of diagnosing and evaluating neurological function, by muscle testing. Muscle testing uses the neuromuscular system and other measurable parameters to determine what is wrong and how to treat a patient.
How does muscle testing work?
Muscle testing is also known as Applied Kinesiology (A.K.). The human body is a very useful instrument that provides all kinds of information. There are various ways of asking the body of a patient to provide feedback. Dr. Gordie uses this feedback to determine which systems of the body need correction (Chemical, Structural or Energetic) and once a correction has been made, to then determine if it has been successful. He uses it in combination with elaborate knowledge of the skeletal and musculature and energetic systems.
History of Muscle Testing:
Muscle Testing was developed 40 years ago by renowned chiropractor Dr. George Goodheart Jr. Throughout the last 40 years many practitioners have begun to use the term Applied Kinesiology. (A.K). A Professional Applied Kinesiologist (P.A.K.) is board certified by the I.C.A.K (International College of Applied Kinesiology), has undergone rigorous testing and met educational requirements to become a Professional Applied Kinesiologist.
